Fertilizer Coating Opportunities With Wolf Trax DDP Micronutrients

The unique formulation process used by Wolf Trax to manufacture DDP micronutrients ensures that, when blended with granular fertilizer, the DDP will be evenly distributed, and thoroughly coat all the prills in a batch of fertilizer. Throughout the blending process right to application in the soil, DDP products stay coated on the prills. This provides a new way of delivering micronutrients to the plant, ensuring more even distribution throughout the root zone, and superior application.

Innovation. Only Wolf Trax offers you this fertilizer coating ability, setting them apart from the competition.

Superior application.
Because of the proprietary formulation and micro-static adhesion, DDP micronutrients are distributed throughout 100 percent of the fertilizer blend. Typically, granular micronutrients make up less than five percent of the final fertilizer blend. DDP technology means that micronutrients are available throughout the rooting zone.

Improved uptake.
All Wolf Trax micronutrients have the unique Dual Action formulation. That’s significant because it means the crop isn’t waiting for micronutrients to become available. They are there when needed by the crop, and they remain available - thanks to Dual Action.

Wolf Trax DDP vs. Granular Micronutrients
   DDP technology ensures that micronutrients are distributed throughout the root zone, providing
   up to 50 times the interception points for roots to access micronutrients compared to granular.

There really is no comparison between Wolf Trax DDP technology, and the traditional granular micronutrient products. When applied as a coating on granular, prilled fertilizer, Wolf Trax micronutrients are available to the crop the instant the crop accesses the nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. This represents a revolutionary leap ahead of old-style, granular products, where it can take weeks for the crop to "find" sparsely spread "chunks". With Wolf Trax DDP micronutrients, root to nutrient contact is no longer left to chance.

Proven to Perform. Wolf Trax products undergo some of the most extensive testing of any micronutrient products on the market today. Our products are tested in the lab and field for efficacy and stability, and are tested under the actual conditions under which they will be used. As a result of our extensive @farmtested research and evaluation program, Wolf Trax micronutrients are the only ones on the market backed by a performance guarantee.

Flexibility. Wolf Trax products are high analysis powders, so there’s less product volume and handling required. For example, one ton of Wolf Trax Zinc DDP can replace 13 tons of commonly used granular zinc micronutrient (35% zinc). This means two pallets of Wolf Trax DDP is equivalent to one full truckload of a typical granular micronutrient. This frees up a lot of floor or bin space and makes your business more efficient. Wolf Trax DDPs have an indefinite shelf life, and conveniently do not require heated storage.

Making DDP Work For You

There’s no comparison between DDP technology and the old granular micronutrients. In a dry fertilizer blend, DDP technology means:

• there’s no caking;
• all fertilizer blends can be coated including urea;
• mixing and blend integrity is maintained; and
• there’s flexibility to increase rates of micronutrients in the blend.

You can adopt the leading edge technology of Wolf Trax without purchasing expensive, new equipment. In the majority of cases, you can blend our DDP micronutrients with your existing equipment. Some equipment may require recalibration, and Wolf Trax technical representatives can help you with this. If you need assistance integrating Wolf Trax DDP micronutrients into your production system, call us – we’re here to help.

Because of the extensive research and evaluation program carried out by Wolf Trax, we have the information to advise you about rates for the soil types and growing conditions in your area.
